- How many tickets will I have
for my family and friends?
Tickets are not required. There is ample seating for as many guests as you wish to invite.

- When and where will I pick
up my cap and gown?
Caps and gowns (also known as regalia) will be available in the Bookstore during Graduate Salute Week which is normally the last week in February for those students who have already applied. Students who apply after Graduate Salute Week
may pick up their regalia the week prior to Commencement. (Graduate students are required to receive approval by the Graduate School to participate in Commencement if they are finishing degree requirements in a later term.)

- I will graduate with honors.
Where do I get my stole, etc.?
Honors accessories are obtained in the Dean's office of your school or college. College of Arts and Sciences Honors students may receive their stoles at a ceremony prior to Commencement or in the Honors Office, Main 517.

- Will my family be allowed to
take pictures?
Yes, family and friends may take pictures from the seating area. Access to the Arena floor
will not be allowed. A professional photographer will take pictures of each graduate.

- Will handicapped seating be
available for the ceremony?
Yes, accommodations for parking and seating should be arranged beforehand by contacting
the Dean's office of your school or college.

- Even though I will graduate
in summer or fall I would like my name to be in the Commencement program. Will it be
included?
Yes, if you apply before the Spring deadline for priority consideration. Be sure you apply for the term you actually intend to graduate. Students who apply after this date cannot be guaranteed their names will be listed in the Commencement
program.

- Which ceremony should I
attend?
Undergraduate students who have graduated in Summer or Fall or have applied for graduation in Spring
are strongly encouraged to attend both the All-University Commencement and their school or
college recognition ceremony. For planning purposes, eligible participants will be asked
to list their preference(s) on an attendance card that will be mailed to them
along with information concerning Commencement. (Graduate students are required to receive approval by the Graduate School to participate in Commencement if they are finishing degree requirements in a later term.) Undergraduate students are not individually recognized at the All-University Commencement.
