My name is
Rebecca and I am the President/Founder of the International Spotted Horse
Registry Assoc. here in Missouri. We would like to invite you to attend our
Open Horse Show, Sunday, June 1 in Carthage, MO. at the Civil War Arena!
There will be over 100 class's, all halter classes will be double-judged and
double pointed! There are 2 arenas, one inside and one outside - classes will
be held in both arenas. Carol Lawrence of Missouri, a very well known judge in
this area and Slim Newlove, a very well known judge in Ontario, Canada
will be our judges for most of the classes. (several "color" classes
will be included with Championships)
There will be classes for Tots, Youth, Adults & Special Needs. There will
be Western, English, Speed Events, Gaited and Working Horse classes. There will
be something for everyone.
There will be classes for all types of horses and horse breeds. Classes for
Ponies, Miniatures, Drafts, and Horses.
A seminar on "The Inheritance Of Paint Coat Color" with a book
signing after will be done by Dr. Ed North of Northfork Equines of Mississippi.
Dr. North is the author of 8 books on
horse color genetics, a prominent show judge, a top breeder of champion
Palomino horses, and an associate professor of genetics in Mississippi.
At this time we are also seeking Show Sponsors. The sponsorship fee is $20 and
your name will be announced during the show, will be entered on our Sponsorship
Web Page, and listed in our newsletter. If you have a banner, we will be happy
to display this at the show arena.
Vendor fee is $20.00, no inside vendors and none that sell food or beverages.
For vendor form, please contact the ISHR office: ishrppa@aol.com and request a
form. No vendors can set up the night before the show.
