Like all horses carrying the official UA brand, Gambler was properly imprint trained at birth and continues to be handled and trained under the guidance of professionals. Like all our weanlings, he wears a tiny pony saddle, carries a bit, crosses obstacles, walks in and backs out of a trailer, and stands for bathing. What more could you ask of a weanling? At maturity, Gambler is probably going to stand at least 16 hands high. He is going to be a very large bodied strong gelding. Like his half sister Gwen, Gambler should be able to excel in any number of disciplines like western pleasure, western riding, hunt seat, or even barrel racing or roping.

Gambler’s sire, Shawne Bug Leo, is one of only three stallion sons of Shawne Bug in the U. S. at this time. Shawne Bug was a stakes winner earning $277,000 in his lifetime! His offspring have earned just under $5, 000,000 dollars.

Shawne Bug Leo’s offspring are outstanding race or barrel horse prospects. His family tree includes some of the most famous Horses of all time; Lady bugs Moon, Three Bars, Seabiscuit, Man o War, Leo, and Joe Reed.

They have also earned AQHA Championships, Performance ROM’s, Superior Performance Awards, with AQHA Incentive Fund earnings of over $167,000, NSBA earnings of over $172,000, and AQHA World Show earnings in excess of $50,000.
