Aslan
Aslan
(deceased 2006), last stood at Lost Ridge Farm in Texas. Aslan, a Danish Oldenburg stallion, stood a solid 16.3 hands. He was double registered with both the Danish Oldenburg and the American Warmblood Society (AWS), where he is approved for breeding and is classified an Elite stallion with an 84% overall score. Aslan was named as one of the Top Ten Stallions in the AWS 2002 Progeny Study. He has over 20 offspring in Denmark, including two approved stallions. His most outstanding trait as a sire is how strongly he stamps his get. Virtually every foal has his outstanding gaits and as you can see by photos of his offspring they look alike too! The D. E. King Equine Program owns some preserved semen of Aslan’s that was donated by Dr. Melanie Worth of Virginia. It is NOT FOR SALE!
