The mission of this project is to protect the ecological integrity of the Cave Springs Cave Natural Area. The specific goals of this project are to recover the population of Ozark Cavefish in this cave complex and to restore the cave stream habitat.  This project is part of a larger effort to implement the Ozark Cavefish Recovery Plan with the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
