Latin American Studies
This outstanding program addresses the need for academic understanding and active cultural engagement with the Lati American world, within Fulbright College as well as across the University and for state and regional communities. They strive to be an innovative interdisciplinary program of nationally and internationally recognized quality.
Middle Eastern Studies.
The King Fahd Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies is an informational and educational resource on the Middle East and the Islamic world for the state of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas community.
Russian Studies.
This program focuses on the prerevolutionary period prior to 1917, on the communist period from 1917 to 1991, and on the post-communist period from 1991 onward. The geographic focus includes Russia, the other successor states that have emerged from the breakup of the Soviet Union, and East Europe.
