Back to Levittown
In the second version of the Levitthouse, the bedrooms are pushed to one side. The public spaces - the kitchen and living room - now run the entire length of the house.
Unlike the original Levitthouse, the second version has a notion of an entry. The miniature porch provides a limited threshold between the household and the people outside of the family boundary.
The living room and kitchen of the second version of the Levitthouse are rotated 90 degrees from the original orientation allowing for a continuous spine of family space to stretch across the house, allowing for parental oversight in the front and back yards.
