Strategies and evaluation

1.Pretest Students
2.Preview Materials
3.Prepare Materials
4.Prepare Environment
5.Prepare Learners
6.Provide Experience and Interaction

1. Pretest Students: First of all you would pretest your students. You would want to determine what your students all ready know about specific
elements related to the topic. For example:
What do you know about french bread?
What does bread stand for in France?
Who are the people involved?
How big is the industry of Bread ?

2. Preview Materials: Then you would want to preview your materials as needed. For example, if you have specific web sites for them to access, you
would want to look these over and make sure that they are related to the topic in question, that they can be accessed, and that they are appropriate
for the level of your students. You also want to double check your web site you have created to ensure that all works well.

3. Prepare Materials: You would next want to prepare the appropriate materials. For example, prepare advance organizer questions, statements,
true or false ideas or visuals that you would go over in class with the students prior to their working with your web module.

4. Prepare Environment: To ensure that all goes well the day you begin work on your module, make sure that you have your questions or written
materials printed out, that you have the appropriate equipment for in-class presentation, or that you have access to the computer lab to go over the
module with the students.

5. Prepare Learners: Before students work with the module, you want to prepare them for the work to come. So, you would give them an overview of
the module, you would also go over the advance organizer materials you prepared earlier, and you would let them know what is expected of them
within each segment of the module. This would entail following the objectives outlined earlier in this teacher component.

6. Provide Experience and Interaction: At this point, you've made your assignments and now student should be working with the material. It is
ALWAYS important to bring the information back into the classroom and interact in relation to it. This is what makes technology effective and
personable!

How do you evaluate your students ?

You can simply put a grade on the exercises provided on the site, for instance the true/ false exercise or the multiple choice one.

You can also have them work on a project, and have them present it to the class.

Have them send you via e-mail their recipes or poems (following the instructions).
