Several stratagies may be followed in using this site in your lessons. Here are some gudelines that may help.

Pretest students: You will want to get an idea what background knowledge your students may have on what is Creole. Ask them a few preparatory discussion questions to survey their basis. These may also help you to feel out any stereotypes and misinterpretations that can be addressed in their activities and follow-up discussion.

Preview Materials: Scan all web pages and handout materials to make sure they are appropriate for your activities. Check to be sure the language level is appropriate and that the material presented is effective for your activities. Also be sure that your students will have access to the pages needed.

Prepare Environment: Before students use the web site for activities, maek sure the page is up and working that day, that all computers being used are functional. Also you may need to do a quick training session to ensure that all students are prepared to navigate through the pages being used.

Prepare Learners: by giving the students preparatory questions, you can evaluate their needs and knowledge. But you must also prepare them for what they will be introduced to in the web site.

Provide Experience: Along with the interactive activities presented on this site, also prepare some activities to follow along with the information you wish your students to use on the web page. Follow-up activities to prepare for discussion are also useful in helping provide interactive experience for your students.
