Strategies

Before using this module you should preview each section and modify, adjust, and add to as you feel necessary for your class. It is also a good idea to complete each activity yourself. You may want to pretest your students on the general topic of Mexico and the four major sections as well. Be sure to prepare materials ahead of time. Many of the activities need to be printed before students can work with them. Decide if you want to present the website on one screen, or if you want each student to have a monitor. Unless you have lots of computers in your room, you probably need to reserve the computer lab. Again, this unit will be more effective if it is teacher directed. Otherwise, students will pick and choose their way through the unit.
