Undergraduate students who will have successfully completed 60 hours of course work with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale prior to May 2013 and attend a partner institution. Students that graduate May 2013, or any time prior, are not eligible to apply. |
| WHAT: |
The George Washington Carver Research Program is a recruitment initiative to identify superior undergraduate students of Historically Black Colleges and Universities & Hispanic Serving Institutions for selected internship positions at the University of Arkansas. |
| WHEN: |
May 19, 2013 to July 12, 2013 |
| WHY: |
Interns will work directly with a faculty mentor and be exposed to various aspects of graduate study. Interns who successfully complete the program will receive a competitive research stipend, compensation for room, board, and travel. |
