  4. New Business: Program Changes
    1. Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, Department of History: Proposal to modify course requirements for the M.A. degree (HISTMA) as shown in Section V of Attachment A.
    2. College of Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering:
      1. For the M.S. degree in Computer Engineering (CENGMS):  Proposal to allow six hours of 5000 level CSCE course work taken as an undergraduate student to be used to satisfy requirements for the M.S. degree, for students who complete a BS degree in CENG with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or greater (Attachment B).
      2. For the M.S. degree in Computer Science (CSCEMS): Proposal to allow six hours of 5000 level CSCE course work taken as an undergraduate student to be used to satisfy requirements for the M.S. degree, for students who complete a BS degree in CSCE with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or greater (Attachment C).
    3. College of Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering:  For the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (ELEGMS):  Proposal to allow six hours of 5000 level ELEG course work taken as an undergraduate student to be used to satisfy requirements for the M.S. degree, for students who complete a BS degree in ELEG with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or greater (Attachment D).
  5. New Business:  Policy Change: Proposal to modify Board of Trustees Policy 405.4(2)(C) as shown in Attachment E.
  6. Course change report from the University Course and Programs Committee (Attachment F) (Note: Course change proposals can be viewed at http://www2.uark.edu/servlet/ edu.uark.regr.ccf.Main or by going to the website of the Registrar and clicking on “Faculty/Staff” then “Curriculum Change Form,” and then “View Changes Pending Before the University Course and Programs Committee.”)
  7. Graduate faculty recommendations for faculty: A preliminary list is attached (Attachment G).  A complete list will be distributed at the meeting.
