    1. Minutes for the August 16, 2012, Graduate Council meeting will stand approved if no corrections are received. (Please review the minutes on the Graduate School web page before the meeting: http://www.uark.edu/grad). (Note: The Graduate Council did not meet in September.)

    5. New Business, Programs Changes:
      1. Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences, Department of Agricultural and Extension Education: Proposal to modify the Master of Science degree (AEEDMS) by changing the admission requirements to include satisfactory undergraduate preparation in related fields of study and satisfactory GRE or MAT scores ( Attachment A )
      2. Walton College of Business, Department of Supply Chain Management, Proposal to modify the Ph.D. degree in Business Administration (Supply Chain Management Concentration), as described in Section V of Attachment B
    6. New Business, Policy Clarification: How do we define “peers” in the application for graduate faculty status for graduate assistants? ( Attachment C )
    7. New Business, New Program Proposal: Proposal to create a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (NURSDP) with two areas of specialization: adult/geriatric acute care nurse practitioner and adult/geriatric clinical nurse specialist ( Attachment D , Attachment E , Attachment F , Attachment G , Attachment H , Attachment I , Attachment J , Attachment K , Attachment L , Attachment M , Attachment N ).
    8. Discussion: Will we allow an X to be removed from a CF grade “upon graduation or completion of the period of suspension” for graduate students, as is currently stated in the Academic Integrity policy?
    9. Discussion: Do we support instituting a late registration fee?
