Student Spotlight

I have been extremely well-prepared for my job. My first year review was outstanding across both research and teaching. I really feel like the research training I got under my adviser (Scot Burton) at Arkansas was invaluable in preparing me for a faculty position. I've now got 4 publications in print, one forthcoming, and a number under review and I haven't even finished my first year here. This is ALL due to Scot's guidance and training.

Ph.D., Marketing, 2005
Currently: Assistant Professor of Marketing, Villanova University

Our Goals

The Office of Graduate Recruitment serves the University of Arkansas by focusing efforts on the Graduate School’s most valuable asset, its students. The Office of Graduate Recruitment will recruit quality students and develop relationships with educational and community organizations nationwide that will develop respect for our university. The relationships we create will ensure that culturally/ethnically diverse students have the opportunity to succeed at the University of Arkansas.

Information for International Students

The International Admissions Office serves prospective students who are not U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents at the time of application. The International Admissions Office also assists with the evaluation of credentials for academic work awarded outside the U.S.

Admissions and testing requirements, frequently asked questions, contact information and available forms for International Students who wish to apply to the University of Arkansas are available at the International Admissions Office web site. For further information, international support issues and on campus resources for International Students, visit the International Programs and Services web site.

Information for Sponsored International Students

The University of Arkansas is pleased to offer a program to sponsors of international students and to the student directly which facilitates the admission, support, and repatriation of the sponsored student.

Sponsored Student Programs (SSP) takes the student and sponsor from the point of inquiry and admission to final degree conclusion and return home. We act as the point of contact for you, thus avoiding the confusion that frequently arises with multiple-bureaucratic systems.
