This site allows you to notify University Researchers across the United States of your availability and interest in graduate school. Researchers will then contact you about your application. This is an academic site developed to help University Researchers find you to help you get matched with the best graduate program.

Please read the statements on Purpose and Use, Rules for the Site, and What to Submit before you continue. If you agree to the rules, promise to provide only truthful information, and consent to the distribution of the information you provide to participating graduate programs, then click on the Data Submission Form button to the right.

Purpose and Use

Students provide their personal information regarding interest in attending graduate school in the SCIENCES.
  • The role of this site is:
    • Students will submit their critical information regarding research interests, statement of interests, and referees to the database.

  • Advantage to the Students:
    • You don't have to hunt for a graduate school that wants you, they will find you
    • No more mass mailings and lots of application fees
    • Programs or Faculty who are interested in recruiting you to their program will then contact you.

    • Programs and Faculty with available positions can get matched up with students who are available.

This database will only be available to Universities in the United States and the information will not be made available to companies or marketers.

The database will be cleared every year on August 16 to begin a new cycle.

Students are responsible for entering correct information.

What to Submit

  • Personal Data: Name, Address, Phone number, Email ID, Current GPA. and the Degree program you seek.
  • Research Interests: From the list choose up to 5 keywords which best reflect your interests. These are critical because these are how Universities will first find you.
  • Referees: Names and email IDs for two referees who are capable of vouching for your academic performance. These should be people who you have asked (and they agreed) to serve as references.
  • Personal Statement: A short essay (2000 characters or less including spaces) on your research/training interests, your past experiences, your future career goals, and any geographic restrictions. This statement is very important but should be brief and to the point. The personal statement can be critical in whether a Graduate Program contacts you.

Member Institution Instructions

In that letter they need to indicate the name of the responsible person, an email address for the contact person, and the requested user ID and user password. The director or dean should be the email contact person rather than a secretary so that we have continuity and responsibility. The ID and password can then be delegated to an office staff person.
