Are you in an abusive relationship?

 Are you going out with someone who?...

  • Acts jealous or possessive?

  • Always wants to know where you are, what you are doing, who you are with?

  • Is bossy, gives you orders, or always tells you what to do?

  • Always makes all of the decisions and never considers your thoughts?

  • Threatens to hurt you or someone you care about?

  • Emotionally or verbally abuses you (puts you down or calls you names)?

  • Criticizes, humiliates, or degrades you?

  • Has a history of bad relationships and always blames the other person for the relationship?

  • Has a violent temper?

  • Has a history of acting violent?

  • Pressures you for sex?

  • Won't let you have friends with the opposite sex?

  • Friends and Family have warned you about them?

  • You are afraid of them?

If so, then you may be in an abusive relationship and at risk for experiencing relationship violence. Remember,  YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Help is available.
