Why Prepare?
The Centers for Disease Control, Department of Health and Human Services, and other public health experts agree:
"It is not a question of IF a pandemic will occur, but WHEN it will occur."
The government alone cannot prepare the Nation for a pandemic or for any unforeseeable wide-scale emergency. This challenge requires the help of every citizen! By preparing our individual homes with the guidance from basic steps of stocking supplies, practicing healthy habits, and planning ahead, we can reduce the devastating effects of a pandemic. If prepared, lives will be saved!
