It begins when the lion spots a herd of zebras and decides to make chase. The zebras sense impending doom and start to run. The lion finally catches one of the zebras and takes her down. The other zebras know that the lion will be busy for a while and they begin to graze on the grass nearby. They look over at their fallen friend and think, “Thank goodness that will never be me.” But they don’t really know that. The zebras far outnumber the lion and collectively could stand up to him. If they would just band together, they could fight off the attack of the lion. Don’t be a zebra. Stand up and take action. Don’t be a passive bystander when you see someone acting against another or taking advantage of a situation because next time it could be you or someone you care about. (adapted from CMU) Together, we can make a difference. Speak out against violence and let your voice be heard. 1 in 4 No More!
