Student-faculty team continues Belize project
Students and faculty members will continue a service learning project in Belize this summer. They will continue work started last spring in Belize as part of a campus-wide project

A record number of HES students study abroad in 2007
Forty-one students from the School of Human Environmental Sciences participated in study abroad programs, international internships and study tours during the 2007 spring semester and summer session. The students -- majoring in apparel studies, interior design, family development, and food, human nutrition and hospitality – represent a sharp increase from the 16 HES students who studied abroad in 2006

Minds across the sea
The French don’t typically look to Americans for help with their food, especially with something so quintessentially French as truffles. Nevertheless, an American student from the University of Arkansas helped the French settle an important question about their delectable fungus.

Globe-trekking student gets international perspective on agricultural business 
Carmen Albright is spending a year studying in three countries to obtain an international outlook on her studies in Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences.
