Experiences Abroad: Australia
Dec. 4, 2008
"The most exciting part of my experience was meeting the Australians.” according to Kelly Frost, a dietetics major in the UA Bumpers College, School of Human Environmental Sciences. “It was so awesome getting to know them.”
A native of Forrest City, Frost participated in a summer study abroad program in Australia through the Institute for Study Abroad at Butler University. She completed a three-hour course in Gender Studies at the University of Sydney.
“The three-week summer course was intense,” Kelly said. “There was a lot of work involved in an extremely short amount of time, but I did enjoy the class."
Frost said she met many new people, made new friendship and learned a lot about Australia.
“The study abroad program in Australia was a once in a lifetime opportunity,” says Kelly. “I would highly recommend the study abroad program to other students.”
