Classis Latina MMIII Exempla Quaestionum Periculorum:

Latin quiz and test questions will come from materials previously read in class. English quiz questions will be selected from a set handed out two (2) class periods prior to the quiz. Use the tests posted on this page as a reference for the types of questions which are likely to occur on tests in this course.

In Latin translation, even a word that one has never seen before can still be correctly identified in some of its aspects for points. As an example, one might be unaware that the word "discipulus" means "student," yet that will not prevent the word from being identified as a masculine, singular, noun in the nominative case. The word "dicimus" can be parsed as a 1st person, plural, present tense, active, indicative verb without knowing that it means "we are saying."

Do not let what you don't know stop you from getting the points for what you do.
