An exhibit of 'A Century of Physics' posters in the second-floor lobby of the Physics Building is being inaugurated. The American Physical Society, at its centennial in 1999, produced a set of eleven posters depicting the development of 'Modern Physics' from 1890s through 1990s. Each poster depicts not only what were the milestone discoveries of that decade but puts them in the context of what was happening in the fields of art, architecture, technology, etc. We have produced our own two posters depicting the birth of our department in 1907 and where we are today a century later. All thirteen posters are being displayed together.
