On behalf of the Department of Physics, I have a very special pleasure of inviting you to a celebration of the department's centennial on April 3-5, 2008. The highlight of the program will be the reunion with our old friends, former faculty and alumni, on Saturday morning April 5th. We are expecting most of the former faculty to attend, and we hope that a majority of alumni will also attend.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us and celebrate this very important event in the department's history. The Department, the University, and the Northwest Arkansas region have gone through enormous changes in recent years and, I am sure, you will be happy to see the new developments first-hand. For us, it will be an enormous pleasure to welcome you back to the campus and to renew old friendships.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. This will help us better plan the events and prepare your nametags in advance. Those pre-registering by February 15 will be entered in a drawing and ten registrants will win two nights free accommodation at the Clarion Inn.
