Notes:

1. Assumes a third-semester decision to pursue the BA Physics degree.
2. Statistics courses are especially recommended for pre-law students.
3. For pre-law students, courses in essay writing, research writing, business, or political science are especially recommended to fill the elective course hours.
4. The 9 hour "special emphasis area" requirement is fulfilled by electives in some other study area, at the 3000 level or above. For pre-law students, business or writing or political science are especially recommended for the special emphasis area.
5. First semester foreign language is considered remedial and does not apply toward the 124 hours needed for a degree.
6. This is a recommended, not required, course. Other physics or astronomy electives may be chosen instead.
