Non-University Based Entertainment

Walton Arts CenterThe Walton Arts Center is the premier source for music and drama within the comunity. They typically have a varied calendar each year, with performances of various plays, musicals, opera, and more.

Many of the professors and students from the University play for the North Arkansas Symphony.

Many of the local restaruants offer live music (some outdoors in good weather):

Eureka Springs is a popular nearby destination for many people.

Branson, MO (known for its live shows and entertainment), Silver Dollar City (an amusement park), and White Water (a water park) are just two hours away.

Fayetteville will have its own water park soon (opening summer 2004)
