General Guidelines

A REU is a Research Experience for Undergraduates. It is available after your Sophomore or Junior year. Application deadlines are variable, so you should check out the programs you are interested in early. Most programs will require some form of letter of recommendation. These programs pay you to spend 8-10 weeks doing research at some other institution. No UARK scholarship is required.
