The DNA Resource Center uses a ABI 3130xe analyzer to provide automated DNA sequencing. The facility also offers training in molecular biology techniques and instrumentation.

• DNA Sequencing – plasmids and PCR products
• Fragment analysis – microsatellites, AFLP
• SNP genotyping

• Leica TCS SP2 confocal microscopy system
• M.J. Research gradient thermal cyclers (Tetrad and Dyad PCR machines)
• Genomic Solutions Microgrid Array Printer
• Fujifilm Luminescent Image Analyzer
• ABI 7300 Sequence Detector (Real-Time PCR)
• AXON 5um DNA Array Scanner
• Analysis software for data obtained from each of the units
