GARY D. DAVIS Undergraduate Recruiter

Mr. Davis received his B.S. in environmental science in 1980 and M.S. in agronomy in 1982 from the University of Arkansas. In 1993, he was certified as a fund raising executive by the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.

Davis has been a county extension agent for Logan and Crawford counties, and was the center coordinator of the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center for approximately six years before coming to the Center of Excellence as the undergraduate recruitment specialist.

His primary responsibilities are to expand and implement the undergraduate recruitment program and increase the current undergraduate student enrollment in the Department of Poultry Science. In 1999, Davis received the Poultry Science Association's Recruitment Award.
