Professor Yanbin Li named to Tyson Chair in Biosensing: Dr. Li will hold theTyson Endowed Chair in Biosensing Engineering. Li's current work is with a prototype of a portable biosensor system for field use to rapidly detect the H5N1 bird flu virus in poultry. To read more about Dr. Li, view the entire news release.

To visitors to the Poultry Center at the U of A:

Please be aware that there has been a change in parking policy. In the past, we have been able to issue 'VIP' passes to park in our circle in front of the building. Now visitors will need to park in designated loading zones, get a one-day pass from our receptionist, and then park in the lot just north of the football stadium. I regret any inconvenience this may cause when visiting the Center.
