Dr. Matthew T. Feldner

Clinical Training Program
Email: mfeldne@uark.edu

Ph.D., University of Vermont, 2005

M.A., West Virginia University, 2001
B.S., University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point, 1998

Dr. Feldner’s research program aims to increase our understanding of the development, prevention, and treatment of panic disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, and the common overlap between unhealthy behaviors, such as smoking, and these conditions. To this end, he continues to systematically examine in the laboratory context specific factors that are implicated in the development and/or maintenance of these conditions and integrate these findings into the development of novel prevention and treatment protocols. Dr. Feldner maintains an active research program funded, in part, by research project and training grants awarded by the Department of Defense, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health, as well as local funding sources including a departmental research endowment and the statewide Arkansas Biosciences Institute. Please see Dr. Feldner’s laboratory webpage (http://comp.uark.edu/~mfeldne/) for more information about current activities he and his research team are pursuing in the areas of research, clinical, teaching, and service.
