Amy Hebert

Amy is pursuing her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation from the University of Arkansas and holds an M.S. in Deafness Rehabilitation, a B.A. degree in Interpreting and an A.A. degree in ASL Studies from Delgado Community College. Her background experience includes working for the Georgia and Colorado State VR programs as a Rehabilitation Counselor for the Deaf. Ms. Hebert joined the Rehabilitation Research team in December of 2004. At the RTC she is involved in a variety of research projects that focus on issues relating to supported employment for persons who are low functioning Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Currently, Ms. Hebert serves as the RT-31 representative to the Arkansas SOTAC Advisory Committee and also holds a board position as treasurer of the Arkansas Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
