The Impact of Legislation and Policy on Service Delivery (R-1)
Study 1.2:
Evaluating VR Workforce Participation and Employment Outcomes
Key Contact: Douglas Watson, Ph.D.
The purpose is to conduct ongoing evaluation of the vocational rehabilitation service delivery for persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. The evaluation will follow the Input-Intervention-Outcome model proposed by Walls (2001). Characteristics of persons served, services provided and resulting employment outcomes will be examined through analysis of national case services data. Three specific studies of VR service delivery with persons with hearing impairment are proposed that are based on national RSA-911 and O*NET data bases.
