Employers Practices on Workers with Hearing Loss
Key Contact: Douglas Watson, Ph.D.
The purpose is designed to gather information on current employer practices for providing work supports to their employees with hearing loss. A primary objective of this project is to compare these employer practices with the experiences of employees with hearing loss with employer-provided work supports collected through Study 2.1. The project will obtain information about the kinds of work supports being provided to prevocationally deaf individuals served by VR in recent years. The proposed study, which will begin in 2004, will address the following key questions regarding employer practices with workers who are deaf and hard of hearing.
