Sharon Sabik

Research Assistant Professor

Dr. Sharon F. Sabik received her master’s degree and the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credential in 1995 from Springfield College in Massachusetts. She came to Arkansas and completed a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Education and Research at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 2002. She has worked in several rehabilitation-related positions throughout this time including VR case management, substance abuse counseling, and social work. Most recently, Dr. Sabik obtained the Licensed Associate Counselor credential (with a specialty license in Rehabilitation). Her interests focus on the general area of living with a chronic and/or traumatic illness with a focus on research, dissemination of information, and counseling / support.
