Carolyn Hickson is an Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas where she teaches piano, history and literature, theory, and supervises the accompanying program. She also directs the annual Solo Piano Competition for Pre-College Students which is held at the University of Arkansas. She has been active as an accompanist throughout her career and has studied with Sidney Foster and William C. Gant. Ms. Hickson is presently pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts in piano performance at the University of Iowa.
