Students and faculty in the University of Arkansas Community Design Center have changed the way that architects think about sustainable and accessible design, providing practical solutions for sustainable neighborhood landscapes and fostering better development of towns and communities. Most recently, the American Institute of Architects recognized the strength of their designs with three national awards. Only a handful of architectural firms have won three of these urban-design awards in a single year.
