Counseling and Psychological Services
Psychologists, social workers, and professional counselors provide students with help in solving problems, understanding themselves, and growing peronally.  Located in the Pat Walker Health Center.

Support Groups
Gather with university community members to discuss various concerns including body image, relationships, etc., or join a drum circle for relaxation and camaraderie.

Body

Intramural Recreational Sports
Located in the Health, Physical Education and Recreation building (HPER), this program provides tools and education that encourage a healthy lifestyle for the college student and the University community.

  • Fitness / Wellness- program offers personal training, massage, group exercise, a fitness center, sauna, and more...
  • Outdoor Education- the Outdoor Connections Center provides a climbing wall, outdoor equipment rental, group activities and adventures, etc.
  • Sport Clubs - student sporting clubs range anywhere from paintball to rugby to women's lacrosse.

Spirit

Registered Student Religious Organizations
Provides spiritual, religious, and social outlets for all university students.

Our impact on the world

Sifting Through Stardust

Derek Sears, director of the university's Space and Interplanetary Center, is doing not so much global research as research beyond the globe. He and other researchers most recently examined stardust brought back to earth from a comet. The researchers will complement mineralogical, elemental and isotopic measurements to "map" the history of cometary particles.
