Fulbright Legacy

Sen. J. William Fulbright, an alumnus and former president of the University of Arkansas, took the ideals of the Rhodes Scholarship and multiplied them exponentially, writing legislation to create an educational exchange among all nations. The author of the Fulbright Scholarship Progam once said, "International education exchange is the most significant current project designed to continue the process of humanizing mankind to the point, we would hope, that nations can learn to live in peace."
