Finding Full-text Journal or Magazine Articles

We own many journals and magazines in electronic full-text. Several companies sell us aggregate databases which include electronic copies of articles, such as: ProQuest Direct   (2,100 titles, about half full-text), Ebscohost Academic Search Premier (more than 7,000 titles, about half full-text), Lexis Nexis Academic 5,000 titles, full-text but no images)
We also subscribe to a number of electronic reference sources, such as:
Biography Resource Center ,or Encyclopaedia Brittanica

We pay the database providers for these full-text journals, including copyright fees for fair use.
We own many journals above and beyond these titles, so if you are not finding what you need, don't give up. The majority of the journals that we own are still on the shelves, or in microform; not all journals, magazines or newspapers indexed in these databases are available in electronic full-text, especially in ProQuest Direct; and not all articles in all issues of the publications which the databases do index are available. Also, there will usually only be full-text articles available since 1994 or 1992, so if you are looking for materials that are older than that, the chances are that they are on the shelves.
