What are microfilm and microfiche? where are they? (Mullins
Library)

Microfilm and microfiche are publishing formats that
allow us to
keep newspapers and other bulky publications in a compact, stable
form.
The publisher photographs the pages of a work (usually newspapers,
magazines or journals) in miniature, and places them on card-shaped photographic
material (microfiche) or strips of film (microfilm).
Most of the microfilm and microfiche in the library is kept on
Level 2, in the Periodicals Room. To read it, use a microfiche or
microfilm reader. To copy
pages, use a reader-printer and Razorbucks in the same area.
If you need help with microfilm or microfiche, ask at the
service desk or at the Reference Desk.
