Reserve materials in Mullins Library

The Reserve materials are located on Level 2 of Mullins, the main library, behind the Circulation/ Course Reserves desk.

The materials "on reserve" behind the Circulation Desk are

which instructors put on reserve so that the materials will be available to the greatest number of students who need them; this is why each item normally has a time limit on its use. The materials may also be available elsewhere but the Reserve collection comes closest to guaranteeing access to all who need it.

If you wish to check what is on reserve for your classes, use the Reserve Lists link from the Libraries' home page or from the InfoLinks catalog, and type in either the name of the professor (for example, Graff-- often the last name is enough), or the course name, and number (such as PTSC 2003, CHEM 1023, etc.). If there are materials on reserve for the class, you will see a listing of them, by title. You will need to give the staff member the file numbers or call numbers. Books will usually only have a call number; articles will have a file number.

Note: Return your materials on time! Because others may be waiting for them, the reserve materials carry high fines if you return them late!
The Fine Arts Library, and other department or branch libraries may have separate reserve areas. If you are not finding what you need at the main library, check at the other libraries on campus.
