The Sturgis Fellowship provides highly-qualified students with one of the most lucrative and prestigious fellowships offered by an American university. Financed by an $8,000,000 endowment created by gifts from the Roy and Christine Sturgis Charitable Trust, a select number of Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences students are awarded a $50,000 Fellowship.
The first class of Sturgis Fellows began their course of study in Fulbright College in 1985, and since then our graduating Fellows have continued to heighten the reputation of this Fellowship with their own outstanding accomplishments. The Sturgis Fellowship has quickly secured the kind of national visibility that will be of incalculable value as our Fellows leave Fulbright College in pursuit of their chosen careers, whether in a graduate program or in the work place itself. |
