	Lines of workers cleaning baleen on pieces of wood laid across sawhorses while standing on beach. 'Cleaning baleen along the shore on the ice that is beginning to break up. They are wearing aprons. The Eskimos would clean their own baleen and sell it to the white traders. They did this until around the 1920's.' TH
