Faculty Members: If you plan on inviting a colloquium speaker, please consult the colloquium coordinator (currently Lampinen) and this calendar to prevent double bookings. You should also check for other potential conflicts such as major conferences that occur on the date you are planning.  Let the departmental colloquium coordinator know of your arrangements (dates of planned visit) as soon as you can so that we can avoid double bookings.  In addition, please provide a talk title as soon as it is convenient. Faculty members are responsible for obtaining funding for colloquia through the Howells Committee or other sources and for arranging for lodging, meals, reimbursement for travel and so on for speakers that you invite. The departmental colloquium coordinator is responsible for maintaining this schedule and for publicizing the event.
