Welcome to the Mack-Blackwell Rural Transportation Center
at the University of Arkansas

MBTC has been named a

National Transportation Security Center of Excellence

and will split $18 million annually for four years to study ways to protect the security of America's transportation system. The University of Arkansas research center was included in the Improving America’s Security Act of 2007, which President Bush signed on August 3, 2007.
