Question: Does the match money for this grant have to be cash/hard money, or can it be soft/in-kind?
Answer: Match money can be soft / in-kind. True monetary match is evaluated favorable in the review process.
Question: Do I have to have my match before I submit a problem statement?
Answer: You do not have to have your match in hand, but you do need to have a committment that it will be available should you win the award. Proof of match is required at the formal proposal submission stage.
Question: Do I have to fill out the University of Arkansas proposal routing form for my problem statement submission?
Answer: No - this is required only for formal proposals.
