The week of January 26-30, 2009 brought an ice storm of unprecedented proportions to the University of Arkansas campus and the greater northwest Arkansas region. The extensive damage it caused and subsequent efforts it spurred among students, faculty and staff alike are chronicled on this web site in the form of news stories and features, photo slideshows, and a video message from the chancellor. As the recovery continues, new content will be added to this site, which will serve as a multimedia archive of one of the most historic and devastating weather events to strike the campus.
