the message sent last week by a group of demonstrators to
the multinational chemical corporation Monsanto as their representatives
visited campus during a recruiting drive.

Peace
& justice center to open

Dr.
Dick Bennett announced last week that a Peace and Justice Center
is to open in Northwest Arkansas. According to Bennett, a retired
English professor from the UA, the Center will focus on human
rights and environmental issues both locally and around the
world.

Pastors
for Peace to roll into town

According to event coordinator, Carol Johnson, the caravan
will be passing through Fayetteville on its way to Chiapas
Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua to deliver aid
and supplies.
