Dr. Jeffrey K. Barnes Dr. Jeffrey K. Barnes, Curator, serves the agricultural community and the general public through identification and diagnosis of arthropod-related problems in Arkansas. As Curator of the University of Arkansas Arthropod Museum, he is responsible for fulfilling the objectives and managing the growth of the largest arthropod collection and research voucher repository in Arkansas. His teaching responsibilities include Insect Diversity and Taxonomy (ENTO 4024) and Immature Insects (ENTO 4033). Dr. Barnes also conducts entomology outreach activities, including Museum tours and web site development. His research specialty is biology and systematics of Diptera. Susan Osredker Susan Osredker divides her time between the Entomology Department office and the Arthropod Museum. In the morning, she can be found in the Department office cheerfully assisting faculty, staff and students and performing myriad secretarial duties. In the afternoon, she performs vital functions for the museum, including emergency conservation services, specimen preparation, and labelling. She can be reached at osredker@uark.edu.
