Each fall semester the CEA invites its new freshman students to participate in a First Year Experience (FYE) program, for students with disabilities (SWD). The goal of the FYE/SWD is to encourage and foster the student's inclusion in the University community's wealth of diverse activities and opportunities in an effort to enhance their overall educational experience on our campus. A Peer Mentor will be assigned to each participating FYE/SWD to provide support and encouragement to their Mentee to become involved in student activities including leadership, social, and community based events.
